NAINITAL
The city of Nainital, situated in the heart of the scenic region of Kumaon, is a preferred spot of tourists and nature lovers. The snow-covered peaks, the fascinating beautiful valleys, the romantic grasslands and the translucent lakes add a complete magnetism to the place. Amongst the several lakes that speck the entire district, the Naini Lake is the most famous. The numerous lakes have also given the district the name 'lake district' of India.
The weather in Nainital is very pleasing all over the year excluding during winter months, but in winters it becomes very cold.
